Option 1: For the fastest service, simply place a new order and return your item(s).
Option 2: Contact us via Live Help Chat, Email, or by calling us at 1-802-776-5644, and we’d be happy to ship your item(s) right away. We’ll waive the standard shipping fee for your new order, but you will still be charged $7.95 if returning with the prepaid return label.

How do I return or exchange an item?
- If you have the packing slip, please complete the return/exchange section on the back of slip and include that in the package.
- If you do not have the packing slip, please include in the package:
- Your name, mailing address and phone number.
- Why you are returning the product.
- If you would like to exchange it for another product, include the size/color/flavor of the item you would like.
- Attach the prepaid return label to your package.

Can I track my return if I use your return label?
Take note of the tracking number at the bottom of your ticket and you will be able to track it within 3 days.
What if I am not using your return label?
You do not have to use our prepaid return label. You may return it to us by UPS, U.S. Postal Service or FedEx.

AK, HI, US Territories, APO/FPO/DPO and International returns may be returned by UPS, US Postal Service or FedEx. Please include:
- Your name, mailing address and phone number.
- Why you are returning the product.
- If you would like to exchange it for another product, include the size/color/flavor of the item you would like.

When can I expect a refund?
We will process your return within 2 to 3 days after we have received it. We’ll send you an email confirmation once processed. After that it may take your bank up to 3 days to process the refund.
May I exchange something right away?
If you would like us to send out your exchange now, please call 1-802-776-5644 to start your exchange. We will waive your shipping fee for the exchange. We will issue your credit for your return when we receive and process it. There will be a charge for use of our return label.
Where do I find my order number?
- If you have an online account, you may log in to access your order number.
- On the packing slip, please look on the front on the top right.
- If you received an order confirmation email, it is just above the order date.
Are there any reasons my return won’t be accepted?
- Products that show that they have been well worn and enjoyed and are simply at the end of expected practical use.
- Products that have been soiled or stained.
- Products that have been damaged by improper care, accident, or misuse.
- Evidence of habitual abuse of our Return Policy.
- Products purchased from other brands not affiliated with The Vermont Country Store
Can I still start the return process online if I don’t have the order number?
- If you don’t have the tracking number or the order number, but you do have an account, you may log in to your account to find the information needed.
- If this was a gift, please contact us via Email, Live Help Chat, or Call 1-802-776-5644 for a return label.
Can I send items from more than one order in a package?
You may certainly send back items from more than one order in a package. Please include any order number information that you have and let us know how you would like us to handle your return/exchange.
