Small Batch Jellies and Preserves Made in New England

Our home-style jellies and jams are made right here in New England with pure fruit juices from the sweetest, juiciest fruits.

Just the right amount of sugar is added to enhance the flavor and bring out that old-fashioned goodness you love, but that's hard to find anywhere else. We leave out the high fructose corn syrup, along with any artificial flavors, colors, and preservatives, because not only does it makes for great tasting jelly and jam, but it's the right thing to do to ensure that every jar is blue ribbon delicious.

Over 30 Varieties Made With The Freshest Fruits, Vegetables, And Pure Juices

The family who makes our old-fashioned preserves slow cooks and patiently stirs each batch of jelly and preserves until they're full flavored and irresistibly delicious. Treasured recipes, handed down for generations, and the finest ingredients ensure you won't find quality or variety like this on your supermarket shelf. Stock up on sweet standbys like apple butter and red raspberry jam, and rediscover hard-to-find favorites like damson plum, spiced watermelon pickle, and golden quince jelly.

Made From Scratch

Enjoy once again the homemade taste of Grandma's preserves by cracking open a jar of our all-natural jams and jellies. Made in New England in small batches using whole fruits and pure juices, these homespun spreads are slowly cooked in kettles and patiently stirred until they reach that perfectly thick, lip-smacking consistency. With flavors like peach jam and Seville orange marmalade, you're likely to find flavors at The Vermont Country Store that you can't find anywhere else.

Delicious In More Ways Than One

When you think of ways to eat your favorite jams and jellies, you might think of enjoying them on crackers or toast, but there are a variety of other ways to put your favorite flavors to work.

Bake with them!

Our favorite way to bake with jams and jellies is in these cute little sandwich and thumbprint cookies.

Gently fold our Whole Blueberry Jam into pancake batter just before cooking for a delicious blueberry burst.

Swirl our Lemon Marmalade into your favorite cheesecake batter before baking for a lemony marbled cheesecake that will have everyone begging for seconds.

Marinate with them! We carry a variety of marmalades and jellies that make excellent marinades

Mix a quarter cup of Ginger Marmalade with 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil, 1 tablespoon of low sodium soy sauce, a half a handful of chopped green onions, one small clove of minced garlic, and salt and pepper to taste.

Want to turn the left over marinade into a glaze? Remove the meat from the marinate, and pour the contents into a non-reactive saucepan. Over medium to medium low heat, gently bring the mixture up to a simmer and allow to reduce by half. This will thicken and concentrate the flavors, making a glaze that's perfect for grilling or baking.

Because each batch of our authentic preserves are handmade in New England, you'll enjoy that rich, delicious, fresh-from-the-farm flavor no matter how you decide to use jams and jellies from The Vermont Country Store.
