We pre-washed our blue and white plaid canvas shirt so it’s soft and easy to wear from day one. And we added plenty of extras too, including a box pleat in the back for increased roominess, two button-flap chest pockets (one has a slot for a pencil or to hang your glasses), and a shirttail hem.
