Hildene: The Lincoln Family Home
Robert Lincoln, the only child of Abraham and Mary Todd Lincoln to survive to adulthood, built his Georgian Revival mansion in 1905 in the scenic village of Manchester. Lincoln descendants lived there until 1975. It truly is a great part of our country's history and an American treasure not to be missed.

Dorset Playhouse
This popular playhouse stages theater productions, concerts, and comedy shows throughout the year, including the Dorset Theater Festival. The Bennington Battle Monument
The Bennington Battle Monument is a 306-feet-tall obelisk that's made of blue-grey magnesian limestone. It was completed and dedicated in 1891. Today, there's a guided elevator tour that takes you to the top!

The folks who run the Merck Forest and Farmland Center are dedicated to teaching and demonstrating the benefits of innovative, sustainable management of forest and farmland. Robert Frost Stone House Museum
When he moved his family to Shaftsbury (4 miles north of Bennington, VT), poet Robert Frost was 46 years old and at the height of his career. This modest museum opens a window into the poet's life, with one entire room dedicated to his most famous work, "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening,” which he penned here in the 1920s.
