How to Measure: Roller Shades

MEASURE WIDTH

The overall shade width is measured from tip to tip of the roller. The fabric width is 1 ½" narrower.

FOR INSIDE MOUNT

Measure your window opening. Choose a shade that will fit within the opening. Keep in mind the fabric will measure 1 ½" less. Example: On a 40" wide roller shade, the fabric will measure 38 ½" wide.

The ends of the roller will pull out to adjust to ⅞" wider than the roller width listed.

FOR OUTSIDE MOUNT

It is recommended you choose a shade that will overlap your window opening 2-3" on each side. An outside mount is always recommended for best coverage and light control.
