Rod pocket curtains work well layered under a valance, or with a sheer or shade underneath. They can be hung directly on a decorative or utility rod, or attached with clip-rings for an updated look and ease of movement at your window. What are decorative curtain rods, anyway? Curtain rods or poles specifically intended to add to the total look of the window. What are utility curtain rods? They’re plain rods or poles, usually made of metal, and typically intended not to show at your window.
