We offer hearty bread from Germany, one that's a powerhouse of protein and another that's filled with hearty grains and nuts, aptly named Power Bread. For something a bit lighter, our pastries are ideal for those who don’t want a heavy meal in the morning.

When you’re craving bread, try a slice of our German bread. Enjoy it as they do in Europe, with a slather of cream cheese and a generous portion of smoked salmon and capers on top. Or, toast a slice and top it with butter and one of our Vermont Country Store jams or jellies. Strawberry rhubarb is a perennial favorite!

We even carry original German zwieback toast, great for teething kids and grandkids. Zwieback, meaning “twice-baked,” are also great for adults. Thanks to their crispy texture and delicate flavor, they’re perfect for dunking in coffee or tea.
