Heavy Duty Oilcloth Tablecloths: Wipe-Clean Real Fabric That Won't Peel Or Crack

Back in the day, oilcloth used to be made by coating heavier weight cotton with linseed oil, which slowly cracked and peeled with age. This method became obsolete with the advent of noncracking plastics. Sadly, what replaced oilcloth was flimsy plastic cloth. Borrowing a page from yesteryear, our heavy-duty oilcloth is still made with real fabric, so it has the weight and drape of real cloth, yet is guaranteed to last. The oilcloth’s laminated vinyl finish wipes clean and will never crack or peel. Cotton/PVC or polyester/PVC. Imported.

  • Oilcloth tablecloths are durable fabric with an easy wipe-clean finish
  • Oilcloth won't crack, peel, or stain
  • Heavy duty oilcloth tablecloths available in 5 sizes
  • 100% Guaranteed. Forever.

Protect your table from spills and splatters for years to come with our wipe-clean oilcloth tablecloths. They’re designed never to crack o peel.

Product Excellent I purchased the above mentioned oil cloth table cloth. It is what I expected. March 30, 2015
Second order This is my second purchase of an oilcloth tablecloth from the Vermont Country Store. Oilcloth holds up to heavy duty use and is easy to clean. I bought the red plaid design this time. My first purchase was the fall leaves pattern. I would highly recommend these wonderful tablecloths. March 30, 2015
Pretty spring colors I love the color and the brightness as well as the practical use of this cloth. I was pleased that there was cloth under the plastic? coating. It is working out very well on my kitchen table. Thanks for offering such a great cloth. Fay C March 24, 2015
At Last real oilcloth tablecloth I have been looking all over for real oilcloth tablecloths. Finally Vermont Country Store appeared in my mailbox. Happy Day. Real oilcloth tablecloth in just the size I needed. I thought the price was high. Changed my mind when I saw the quality of this tablecloth. It surpassed all my expectations. I only wish there were more solid colors. March 13, 2015
Just like my Aunt Nancy's! An aunt I always admired (more so in my later years) stuck to the tried and true of days ago. This included her kitchen table oilcloth. It covered her table for years and still looked new and I wanted the same for my kitchen table. I remembered it being thick and shiny red, not like vinyl tablecloths at all. I would buy another if it came in a wider width! February 24, 2015
Seems great so far As others have said, the cloth is thin but it seems to do an okay job "insulating" our corian table. Easy to care for. It slips a bit so I will probably line top with something to hold it in place better...this will add to the insulation value, too. Have admired this pattern for ages (fruit) and the background is a nice very light and creamy tan as I was hoping, not a bright white...and the colors are vibrant. Perfect for my "country kitchen." slippery I bought this a couple of weeks ago, and, it's just as advertised. It's well made with a beautiful, vivid fruit pattern. Unfortunately, the fabric base is a synthetic which slides on the table, even with the small lamp I have on top of it. I'm hoping that it will get better after a while. February 7, 2015
Beautiful, flexible and sturdy!!! The best part of this oilcloth is that it is reversible to a non-shiny almost silken weave cloth look and feel that is easy to clean and looks lovely. What a pleasant surprise it was...although the normal shiny oilcloth is beautiful as well. The wrinkles from folding ironed out easily (I put towels down on my table and did it there...be sure not to iron on the shiny side)...I would not have even bothered to iron, but I wanted to use it over the holidays (I bought the holly pattern tablecloth as well as yardage to cover my window seat adjacent to the table). What Our Customers Are Saying about Our Heavy Duty Oilcloth Tablecloths …

"After going through many less expensive plastic tablecloths, I finally bit the bullet and purchased two of these oilcloth tablecloths. I only wish I had done so sooner. They not only look good, but they have a nice, heavy weight to them. The table I use this on gets its fair share of use, and this tablecloth has held up to the job and still looks nice despite repeated washing, laptops being slid across the table, and everything else in between."-Sandra, Loganville, GA

"I had heard of oilcloth, but had no idea what it was until my mom bought me a Christmas print oilcloth tablecloth from The Vermont Country Store. Oh. My. Gosh! This tablecloth beats the heck out of the lousy vinyl junk I used to buy! As a mom of 5, I am not only sold on the quality of oilcloth, but also how easy it is to care for. Now that Christmas is over, I will be buying an everyday one...an Easter one...a 4th of July one...and certainly a birthday one! Very, very happy with this product."-Heather, Alameda, CA

"Love, love The Vermont Country Store's oil tablecloth. Have owned one for many years, never wears out. Ordering a new one due to color change in kitchen, and for some reason my cat started chewing on the ends of the tablecloth when wanting to get our attention....."-Kathy, Vienna, VA

"I ordered a bird oil cloth tablecloth about two months ago. I was excited because I wanted it for my picnic table on the deck. I left it outside and within a month it faded. Not, a happy camper." - Barbara Tracy, Culpeper, VA

"So far I've accummulated four of these and want more. They clean up with just a damp songe or cloth. They're hearty - don't tear or rip. Heat doesn't seem to bother them. The colors are lovely, and they don't fade. They're so durable I expect them to outlast me. It sure beats cloth that you have to wash, and the plastic ones that only last a short while. I searched everywhere for oilcloth tablecloths and couldn't find them anywhere else but here. Thank you, Vermont Country Store, for carrying these! " - Vicki, Knoxville, TN

"I am very, very happy with my Fruit tablecloth - it is 9 months old and looks new. On my kitchen table taking abuse daily, it cleans easily, has tolerated an occasional brush with hot pans and is performing as I had hoped. Does not stain either. Getting my mother one for her 90th birthday." - Bonnie , Durham, ME

"I was tired of constantly replacing my cheaply made plastic tablecloths. I remember the heavy oil cloth table cloths of my childhood and wanted to find something that would fit the bill. I had difficulty finding what I wanted until I ran across these tablecloths here online at The Vermont Country Store. They are a very heavy duty. They have a cloth backing with a glossy, heavy duty laminated finish. It just cleans up with a damp cloth. Even though these are a bit on the expensive side, it looks like they will last for years. I got the floral and plan to get more to match the seasons. " - Jannett, Rio Rancho, NM
