Best Chocolate Covered Cherries I purchased these for my son to give to his Godmother for Christmas because these are her favorite. You get what you pay for... Pricey? Yes. But good chocolate is. Every Christmas, I give my husband of 50 years a box of cherry cordials - never missed a one! (Actually, started before we were married.) Always try to get good quality chocolates. Don't want those with that thick sugary syrup. Experience has proven there are none better than those from Vermont Country Store. The chocolate is thick; the cherries fresh and colorful; the syrup is like it came from a sweet cherry pie. Brought back old memories My sister, even as a little girl, has always loved chocolate covered cherries. When I saw yours, I immediately placed my order. I had them sent to her son's home to be wrapped with the tag reading "From Santa". We had all agreed not to confess who had purchased them.
