Different, but good It took me a few times trying these, but I came to really like them. I opened the package and put them in the kitchen. Everytime I walked by, I would take a couple. They became my snack when I wanted something not too sweet, but still flavorfull. I think I will order more. February 6, 2013
Taste grows on you ... Salty licorice is an odd concept, and an odd flavor, too. Taste does grow on you. One or two pieces at a time are plenty. Glad to have tried them at a sale price! Thank you for that opportunity. February 3, 2013
Terrible stuff I think they were trying to make them taste like fish instead of licorice. I don't recommend these for anyone. January 17, 2013
I've missed that taste! I've missed that taste! My Oma (Grandma) used to send the salmiak-pastillen from Germany along with marzipan from Niederegger and a really nice chocolate-dipped peppermint candy, which I've still not managed to find in the States or on the Internet, every Christmas. The salmiak always came in little diamond shapes, like sen-sen but larger. These are so reminiscent of the salmiak taste and so much better than the sen-sen, which I barely touched after my first taste. Please keep this product coming, if you can. November 28, 2012
An acquired taste. I don't like these, but my husband says they are great! I get him a bag at Christmas and it lasts him all year. They have a very unique flavor. November 7, 2012

What Our Customers Are Saying about Our Salty Fish Licorice (Set of Two 8 oz. Bags) …

"Oh, are these so good!! We buy these each time we visit San Francisco. There is a little candy shop, I believe it's in the Height Area, that sells candy and goodies at the Farmers Market at the Ferry Building. These are really a treat. If you like licorice candy you will love these." - Verna Terry, Santa Clara, CA
