This product is very good and great flavor Mincement pie is a favorite and tradition passed down in my family, which we always have during the holiday season. My British Son-in-Law Gives This 5 Stars! My daughter and her British husband moved to the States two years ago. One thing he's missed around the holidays are the little mince pies he used to enjoy back in the UK. When I saw this filling from England, I figured it was worth a try. pies for my Dad So my Father always talked about how he loves mincemeat pies. I had never heard of it . So one thanksgiving I decided to make him one and search for a recipe and came up with some bizarre ingredients. On a whim I decided to search for a ready made product and Vermont country store had it, I was so happy. So I made my homemade crusts and added the filling was so easy and my father thought I made it all by scratch. We won't let him in on my secret. : ) November 6, 2012
Best pie ever! Every Thanksgiving I make a mincemeat pie for my husband - the food store brands were ok - but too sweet for my taste. This mincemeat is just great. It is full of fruit, has a complex flavor, and just the right amount of sweetness. I made individual tarts - which we would split and share - when my husband had to admit he ate the whole last tart all by himself - I knew I had a real hit on my hands. I'm back to stock up - this once a year pie will now be a regular - go-to easy dessert in our house. November 4, 2012
