Where is the fruit-cake? My wife yearned for a good fruit-cake. The Vermont Country Store catalog bragged up their fruit-cake so I went on-line to order. Since the shipping cost was $10.95 I browsed for something to add to my order to make it worth the cost. The Rum Wreaths sounded good. Total cost $52.85. Later I was informed the fruit-cake could not be shipped to Alaska but I was given no opportunity to cancel the order. The Rum Wreaths arrived and were enjoyed by those who tried them. But, $24.90 seems a bit steep for 7 oz of candy. December 28, 2012
Love the Rum If you like rum, you will like these chocolates. They are filled to the brim with rum. Just pop the whole piece in your mouth and take one bite-the rum bursts out. The chocolate does start to turn white when exposed to the air, but the candy is not spoiled. I have ordered these before and will order them again. December 24, 2012
