Throw in today’s updates—a stretchy knit collar and cuffs to seal out the cold and world-class, 100% cotton Portuguese flannel, known for its ultra-soft feel and robust texture—and you have a popover gown that would definitely get Mom’s seal of approval. Flannel Mock Neck Popover Nightgown is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 50.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Warm and Comfy I love slipping into a popover at the end of the day. I bought this pattern because cardinals are my favorite birds. I have several popovers from VCS and they are all comfortable, but this one seemed a little tighter at the neck. I still love it, though. Keep making more patterns.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So-o-O toasty warm The flannel on this nightgown is the thickest I've ever had. This is the 2nd popover I've purchased from Vermont Country Store and the fabric is far superior than the previous popover. I'm sleeping very comfortably during our cold Minnesota winter nights.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Too hot for me Love the bird print and quality flannel but I roast in this gown. I find the neck bothers me too. It is not really tight but the front bothers my neck. I am going to open the front with a V neckline and convert the sleeves to 3/4 length. I think this will be cooler and then I can wear it. The pockets are very shallow. You cannot carry a smart phone in them. I will have to add fabric to make them deeper. I must love the material to go to all this trouble!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm and Cozy Love the high neck and the trim around the wrists that keep the sleeves in place so my arms stay warm!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Cozy! My dad bought me this nightgown for Christmas. I asked for it because I liked the cuffs and neckline. I live in New Hampshire, so being warm is important! I am 5'2 and got the medium. it is a perfect length, right at my ankles, so I don't have to worry about tripping or stepping on it. I also love how the sleeves stay where they are because of the cuffs. I definitely recommend it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I live in this! This is the warmest, comfiest nightgown ever! I especially love that it truly is full-length--right to the ankles. The pockets are great, although I wish they were a bit deeper so my phone doesn't slip out. The flannel is a nice heavy quality and the colors haven't faded after numerous washes. I usually don't even need a bathrobe when I'm wearing it. I look forward to putting this on at the end of the day and am planning on buying a second one.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not great First, let me say that I purchased one of these several years ago, so it's possible that they may not be the same as they were then; I'm writing this because I looked into ordering another and read the reviews. Having said that, the flannel seemed good, the length was great (I hate cold ankles!), the fit a little skimpy (it fit, but was somewhat snug) and worst of all, the knitted neck and cuffs do NOT hold their shape. They stretch out and the neckline almost bares the shoulders because it is so loose: it is NOT the turtleneck advertised. So I would be hesitant to order it again, frankly.
