I looked for a long time and am very happy with my new flannel robe, I wear a size 1X and it's very roomy and did not shrink at all when I washed it. I am very happy with my robe and every thing else that I have ordered from The Vermont Country Store. Great Quality, Thanks.

I'm 5'10" 120 lbs. Size Small is perfect for me. The sleeves are a couple of inches above the wrist so they don't get in the way and the length a few inches above the ankle. I like that fit and also being able to adjust the position of the belt. I chose the violet plaid which has a casual country look. Overall this is a quality item and I'm delighted.

This is a well made very soft flannel light weight robe. Not suitable for frigid winter temps, but great for fall/rest of the year use if you're in a colder climate. I read the reviews about the cut being a man's cut, and ordered anyway. I agree with what has already been stated about the cut. The upper portion of the robe is bountiful, and it gets slimmer through the hips, creating a v opening at the bottom when I bend down. Also, as a 5'6" woman, it is touching the tops of my feet and I step on the sides of it when going up the stairs, so plan on hemming unless you're taller than I am to avoid tripping. The pockets actually made me giggle. I can only get half the length of my fingers in them, or jam a balled fist in them; they are tiny. Will see if I can fix that as well. But these adjustments aside, this is the best light weight robe I've found. I can make breakfast in it without getting too hot or too weighed down as I feel in heavier robes. If you consider your needs and plan on hemming before buying, (and consider ordering up a size if ample overlapping below the waist is important to you) you'll be happy with this robe.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by true grit ordered 2 and may order more
I ordered two and may order more. I love the fabric.
I always order bigger than is necessary and I did this time. There is very little shrinkage so I will need to alter these. The red stripe ran several inches longer than the snow cardinal. I will be hemming and altering these, but I like a generous amount of fabric to overlap.
I will order smaller next time so I do not have to work on them, but I am happy with my purchase. There will be a generous amount of fabric from the bottom that I can make into a matching hair band.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Fancie Pants Very nice robe.
This is my go to robe during the warmer months when the air conditioning is too cold. In the winter I have to wear fleece robes. However, I love the soft flannel and it has washed well. Also, it is very pretty. I have the blue one with the red birds. I am thinking about buying another one. It would be a five star if it was a little big heavier.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by calico10 flannel robe
The absolute only reason I returned this robe was due to the size of the blue/grn plaid which was too large. Please consider smaller size plaids for next season. Everything else about the robe was excellent--fabric weight, construction, styling and fit. I have ordered two previous flannels robes which are wearing out after many yrs of use. Please change nothing about you robes except the size of the prints which should be smaller.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by MKG Lasts too long!
This wonderful is replacing one almost identical to it. It lasted about 25 years and was still going but I just got very tired of it. I figure that this one will outlast me so I'll have to make provisions for it in my will. LOL. Seriously, the robe is a quality product that I highly recommend, i.e., if you don't mind have the same robe for 25 years! The way I look at it, it costs about $2.50/year and that's a bargain any day of the week. It's also nice and toasty for those 2-3 weeks in January and Feb that it's a bit chilly down here in Jacksonville.
