Women's Falling Leaves Muumuu
My first muumuu is a hit
I bought this because I needed something to wear home from laproscopic surgery in late October in TX. Which means it could be anywhere from 60 to 90 degrees. This fit the bill as a sweater could go over it. I wore it home from my surgery last week and liked it so much I have kept wearing it most days afterwards with brief breaks for washing. I love it. Very soft fabric that can be worn in public but is super comfy like a nightgown. I had a couple naps in it and that worked well too. Not too low or too high of a neck. A good midweight fabric which would be nice for temperatures between 60-85 degrees, or anytime inside with temperature control. With pockets to boot, was so excited about the pockets. I bought the orange and green patterned one and it looks stunning. I like it so much I just ordered the blue print one because I have now decided I like wearing a muumuu around the house better than always wearing shorts or sweatpants. I never thought I would wear this type of outfit at the age of 40, but it is great!

Makes My Head Look Too Small
I'm 5'6", 148 lbs, 38 bust, 36 waist, 40 hips. I'm 65. I was afraid the Large would be too big but it fit just right. No tight spots. I think the length makes me look dumpy and my head too small. A lot of cloth in this garment reminiscent of a Choir Robe. I do like the bright coral and brown for autumn. I think I will cut off some of the length and see if that enlarges the look of my pin-sized head.

Hawaiian shirts, tropical prints, muumuus - they're all part of happy summer memories going back to my childhood. When I was very small, my mother actually made numerous muumuus for herself, me and my sister. They weren't easy to find commercially.
In my 20's, Hawaiian shirts began their comeback, and they've been part of my summer wardrobe ever since. They filled my need for tropical prints But now that I'm 60 ... I don't wear shorts and Hawaiian shirts as much. And muumuus - real, classical muumuus - are still hard to find.
Recently, a dear friend passed away. As he was a costumer of some brilliance, and loved tropical parties, we all decided to have a tiki-themed memorial for him - and I had nothing to wear. Then I found your Falling Leaves Muumuu in the new catalog, and was saved!
It's pretty, comfortable, flattering and perfect for a Tiki Party Memorial. Not to mention the hot summers of Los Angeles. Thank you!

I was disappointed with the mumu. Reason being I thought the material was "scratchy" - not comfortable. I paid $60.00 for this mumu - too much money and not want to wear it.

The Falling Leaves Muumuu is very comfortable and I really like the vivid colors. I read the label to wash it with like colors but it did "bleed" a bit when I washed it in cold water wash with Woolite. I will now wash it separately and the color is still vibrant.
