Been searching a long time for a robe like this. So cool and comfy! I would order the next size up though. It does shrink a whole size after washing!

This seersucker robe has some nice features. The quality of the material is excellent: a good weight, not heavy but not flimsy either. I've not washed it yet, but it feels like a good cotton is supposed to feel. I was pleasantly surprised by the length, as I was expecting it to be shorter. Love the in-seam pockets. Gotta have pockets and they don't get covered by the wrap feature of the robe like some patch pockets do. The white piping and width of the sash are nice details, too. The only negative thing I have to say is I miss the loop for hanging securely on a hook. Sometimes the robe slides off the hook. No big deal but I was surprised to see it not there.

I washed this robe on warm, then recalled reading reviews about it shrinking. So, I air dried the robe, but it still shrank significantly. I do wish that the collar seams were sewn down. I had to iron the robe quite a bit to get the collar to look nice. Disappointed in this purchase.

The shawl collar is so deep that it swings open to the waist when I move even though I bought 1 size up for a good wrap-around. Also the back of the neck scratches and I think it's the stitching not the labels, which I could remove.

Been looking for a seersucker wrap for awhile and thought I might have found it here. The material is lovely, light enough for hot summer yet not sheer.
The only problem was that , even though I am a small woman and the robe was a small, the sweep of the robe was just way too much material for me.
Dealing with Vermont Country Store is always pleasant and easy.

Bought this robe for my 97 year old Mom. She wanted something lightweight and no zippers or buttons to deal with. This met all her requirements. It is well made & quite long so it's ankle length on Mom and she loves it.

I bought this robe from the VT Country Store about 10 years ago and wore it into the ground. I was so happy to see that you still carry it! I hope that you'll still be offering this robe 10 years from now when I'll probably need another one!

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Treehugger Great spring/summer robe!
I searched high and low for a long, lightweight summer robe and am very happy that I found this one.
I weigh 120 lbs and the size small fits great. I ordered the lavender color and it's lovely. The color is pretty much as pictured online.
I machine washed it in cold water and hung to dry. The sleeves are just right so I couldn't risk them shrinking, as its 100% cotton.
If a small percentage of polyester was added it would avoid the shrinking without sacrificing breathability of the fabric.
I also modified it a bit to my liking. The edge of the fabric running down the front just below the collar wasn't laying flat, exposing the inner hem stitch. So I just sewed it straight down on both sides, problem solved.
I also added a hanging loop at the collar. It's these two little things that were missing to complete this robe. Luckily I'm very crafty.
Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase!
