Built to last I bought this robe from the VT Country Store about 10 years ago and wore it into the ground. I was so happy to see that you still carry it! I hope that you'll still be offering this robe 10 years from now when I'll probably need another one! May 18, 2015
Great spring/summer robe! I searched high and low for a long, lightweight summer robe and am very happy that I found this one. I weigh 120 lbs and the size small fits great. I ordered the lavender color and it's lovely. The color is pretty much as pictured online. I machine washed it in cold water and hung to dry. The sleeves are just right so I couldn't risk them shrinking, as its 100% cotton. If a small percentage of polyester was added it would avoid the shrinking without sacrificing breathability of the fabric. I also modified it a bit to my liking. The edge of the fabric running down the front just below the collar wasn't laying flat, exposing the inner hem stitch. So I just sewed it straight down on both sides, problem solved. I also added a hanging loop at the collar. It's these two little things that were missing to complete this robe. Luckily I'm very crafty. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase! May 5, 2015
Perfect Summer Robe I had been looking for a lightweight summer robe for awhile, when I found this seersucker cotton robe. I absolutely love it! April 10, 2015
Perfect robe Love this robe. It is my second one so I have one to wear when the other is in the laundry. Nice and long, lightweight and soft. Very difficult to find a robe like this. December 31, 2014
Seersucker Is Great! I have been buying this robe for years. I wear them winter and summer. They last a long time and are washed and put in dryer. It is comfy. Love it and will buy another when it comes in. Can't wait. Good value and favorite robe. October 9, 2014
What happened?? I had this robe for several years till it finally gave out. I was so pleased with it I ordered it again. Time hasn't been kind to the quality of this robe. The first one was sturdy, with nice detailing. This new one is "seeksucker-ish" at best, does not have the texture of true seersucker. Very flimsy feeling, not the old-fashioned superior quality as before. It also lacks a loop at neckline for hanging up which is pretty basic for a robe! I am very disappointed! June 28, 2014
Seersucker wrap robe was a big hit with my wife This robe was just what my wife was looking for, something light, but still covers up. Perfect. May 13, 2014
Beautiful until after first laundering I had wanted this robe since last fall, when I was too late to order the blue and white stripes. I ordered it this spring, and I loved the way it looked and fit when it arrived. Knowing it was 100% cotton, I washed it in cold water and dried it on low as instructed. In spite of this, the sleeves are now a good 2" shorter than they were. Although I hadn't gained weight in the week I'd worn it, the whole garment fits more snugly (too snugly) than it did before laundering. In addition, the poor finishing of the inside seams of the shawl collar and the front placket makes the robe hang poorly in front. The whole garment now looks 10 years old, not two weeks. I thought I would love this as much as my old seersucker robe. I am disappointed. April 15, 2014
