Rated 4 out of 5Â by Shellgirl Cool and comfortable,
Bought my first one early summer. I loved it to wear around the house to do my household chores on hot humid days. When I noticed these were on sale I ordered another for next summer.

Fits well, nicely made. It's a bit old fashioned in the design. It looks like a "housecoat" my mom used to wear.

I had previously bought seersucker PJs from Vermont Country Store, so decided to try a seersucker nightgown.
It wasn't bad when I was standing or sitting but when I lay down it started to ride up my body, and by the time I woke up it was all the way up above my waist.
Also the green was too garish.
I ended up returning this.

I am so disappointed. I have loved these seersucker gowns for years. They are cool, lightweight and just right for after a shower, the pool, the beach, etc. I reorder them every couple of years so I'll never be without. These latest two are awful. The fabric is too stiff, too dark and too heavy. I washed them with BLEACH and hot water hoping to soften and lighten them. No such luck. PLEASE bring back the originals, these are awful

I love gowns! This is just the right weight for summer nights. It's roomy and very comfortable. The only thing that would make this better...in seam pockets.

Sorry, this gown "struck out" with me. I bought it to
wear with matching robe but found seer-sucker did
not allow any air to circulate on my body. Quite disappointed. Had to get up in middle of the night and change into a more "breathable" gown. It is cotton but it is not "cool" as far as I am concernec.

Couldn't the manufacturer have put on a simple ribbon or a bow? It's good material but way too plain!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by TheScarfLady I wear this as a housedress!
With appropriate undergarments, of course. It's cooler than most dresses, esp since the yoke isn't lined since it thinks it's a gown. But it's opaque and fine for running around the house on sweltering days. I have a thin sweater that ties at the waist if I must face my public.
