Rated 5 out of 5Â by north mim great gown
I like to sew and muslin is a favorite fabric of mine. I ordered this gown about 5 years ago and almost returned it as I thought like others, this wasn't very nice quality muslin. Other reviews stated it improves with age, so I kept it. Six months to a year later it became the most wonderful soft gown ever!! I have wore it in all season's and love it! It is finally wearing out (actually only by where I hang it at the back of the neck) and I'm ordering another to love. I would recommend this gown to all, just know you need to be patient, you will be glad you waited!!

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Auntie K2 Almost Perfect
The material is beautifully old fashioned and wonderful, cool enough for spring and summer. It would be perfect if the style was tweeked a little... The wrists should be more flexible (able to roll up or push up).

Rated 1 out of 5Â by bluelovelylass Not the quality I expect from The Vermont Country Store
This nightgown is very poor quality muslin, unlike the muslin nightgowns I bought in the past from Vermont Country Store. I sent the last one back for the same reason and complained then of the quality of the material...they have not changed it and this one was sent back as well.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by Gwendolyn would definitely not recommend
I had a VCS muslin nightgown years ago I loved (sadly lost) and was thrilled to see it offered again, but this is nothing like the previous quality gown. This muslin is like material used in the kitchen for straining whereas the one I had was really cotton and soft. The seams are poorly done and it would require ironing I presume if I weren't sending it back.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by overseventyandloving it wear inside out to avoid scratchiness of thread
my skin is terribly sensitive from seborrheatic keratoses, so i was delighted to find something "For Sensitive Skin." unfortunately, the gown is sewed with a serger stitch and the thread used is very rough. once i covered the yoke seam with a softer fabric and washed the gown 10 plus times, it became soft and comfortable. i love the stand-up collar and just wish there were no seam in the back.
