Women's Ombre Tie-Dye Cotton Tank Chemise Nightgown
Cute and Comfy
I purchased this item to wear around the house during the hot summer evenings.
I ordered it one size larger fearing that it would shrink in size -- it does NOT shrink though, so it's just really big on me. I didn't buy it to wear anywhere else but home, so I don't mind that it's too large.
I love the colors and it's very comfy and lightweight.

Perfect summer dress
I bought this dress in both available colors. The dresses are well made and comfortable. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I use this as a beach cover-up, but it also makes a nice nightie or house dress. I line dry it.

Exactly as advertised-a nightgown
Light material perfect for middle of sultry summer. Husband loves and finds very appealing on me. I machine wash in nylon bag to protect, then line dry. Lovely print.

I bought the nightgown in yellow. It is much too cold still to wear it, but I love how light and cool it feels and think the print is just beautiful.

Keeps me Cool
I have both colors, helps with my overheating. I have C. O.P.D. and I am always hot, it is cool and soft. Have never washed them in the washer. Very delicate fabric looking at it I knew wash by hand wash and hang dry. It dry's fast like less than a hour.
some people may find that problem but the coolness of the nighty outweigh the few minutes it take to wash it in the sink.

Headed for the "Rag Bag"
I washed it per the laundering instructions, but the crochet hem and seams puckered so badly that even ironing them didn't flatten them.
After the second washing, one of the crochet seams unraveled (unbeknownst to me) and caught on a piece of furniture, so the nightgown ripped.
I carefully mended the rip, but the fabric is so thin that the repair comes out again each time I wash it.
Pretty color (I got the blue) and very cool, but looks like heck after just five washes.
Not up to Vermont Country Store's usual standards.

shrinking, scratchy crochet trim ruins a nice item
I bought one of these items in blue, expecting it to be OK for outdoor wear but it is very thin fabric; too transparent for public outings. It is very soft and light; just right for a nightie but the crochet trim shrinks and bunches up and is quite rough. I can remove the band of crochet on the hem but there are also 2 lines of it down the front. I've washed the item several times, tried ironing it and the crochet is still to scratchy to wear. Too bad, it is otherwise a nice nightgown.
