Rated 1 out of 5Â by Jacqueline Just not the same
I've been buying these knee socks for many years and unfortunately the quality and length are just not the same :( They're not as soft and flexible as they have been in the past but what I'm really disappointed in is that these are no longer even knee socks since they barely go above my calf and I'm of average height. I have 2 daughters who wear uniforms to high school and they prefer wool knee socks in cooler seasons. I bought them both a couple of the natural and they both complained that they do not come up to the knee, not soft and that they lose there shape and fall down. I know that cable knit wool knee socks are for some reason hard to find these days, too bad these previous favorites are no longer even a consideration.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by beagle lover Best knee sox ever
These knee sox are the best I've ever had. First of all, they wick away sweat. They keep you warm and they stay up! I'm sick of paying a lot for knee sox that sag at my ankles. These are the best. I've tried all kinds and these last a long time, keep you warm, and don't leave your feet clammy.

I don't know why, but this kind of sock is rare or even nonexistent in local stores. Thank you for offering these.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by RI Mom Hard to find wool knee socks are good but could be better
It's hard to find warm wool knee socks, so I was excited to order these. They are ok. I wish they were thicker and softer. They are warmer than the average knee-high trouser sock, but I hope Vermont Country Store will work with the manufacturer to make something thicker and softer, with a nice cushion on the bottom of the foot for extra warmth.
Why is it so hard to find warm socks for women?

ONE SOCK FIT PERFECTLY. THE OTHER SOCK I COULD NOT GET OVER MY CALF. I TRIED PUTTING THEM ON THE OPPOSITE LEG AND STILL THE SAME OUTCOME

Rated 2 out of 5Â by Susan03 The dye comes out of these socks when washed
I first washed them with grey towels and black and brown was on the towels. I then hand washed them and a lot of dye came out. They are warm so I kept them. I've washed them by hand several times and the dye keeps coming out!

I have been wearing knee high socks most of my life but it is nearly impossible to find them and find comfortable ones. The Vermont Country Store merino socks are perfect. They kept my feet warm and did not bind like other brands do. I got 2 pair for Christmas and have ordered more. I did not have any problems with the dye coming out. I have washed mine several times and they look new.

I have been looking for quality socks for a long time and these are it! They are soft and warm, wash and dry beautifully and stay up. I was also glad to see that they were made in the USA.

What Our Customers Are Saying about Our Womens Cable Knit Merino Wool Blend Socks …
"These are the most comfortable and durable knee socks I have ever owned. I had bought three pairs about two years ago, and after constant washing and wearing, they have not worn out at all. I just love them!" - Robin, Springfield, MA
"I purchased two pairs of these socks a few years ago, and they are the best. It is difficult to find good-quality knee socks these days, and I was happy to find these here. I love the wool for warmth, as my feet are often the first things to get cold and make me cold all over. I wear them winter after winter. I'm happy to see that they are still available because I want to purchase more." - Laura Mirmino-Jones, Cromwell, CT
