Floral Printed Hankies (Pkg. of 12 Hankies)
Usable and nice size
Bought these to keep some and give some as gifts. After the first washing, they are not soft. I'll keep washing. I also had to iron them--they just wouldn't hand smooth out when folding. Really, I don't mind a few wrinkles, but it was bad. Also, they have ink dots marked around the edges presumably for cutting and sewing that did not wash out. Picked out only a couple that are nice enough to give. I wish I could find the well made, soft ones that I bought years ago and have finally worn out.

I've used them for years.
Many years ago I bought a pack of these very pretty hankies that are just the right size to fit in a pocket. Gradually they disappeared - my daughters probably have some, so I recently bought another pack. They're still just what I want. With these at hand I find I don't use paper tissues any more. Much less wasteful!

I bought these for myself but have wound up giving more than half away. Whenever I pull one of these hankies out of my purse I get so may compliments I have learn to carry two; one for me to use and one to give away. Tissues can be rough and leave behind lint, not these, they are so soft. They also wash very well in the machine. Great purchase!

My Mom Loves Your Handkerchiefs
My mother is 87 years old and was raised in the South at a time when you were not "dressed" if you didn't carry a handkerchief.
Well, department stores now, for the most part, don't carry handkerchiefs, as we live in the North, and handkerchiefs are somewhat a dress item "of the past," especially for women--EXCEPT FOR MY MOM!
I used to look far and wide for handkerchiefs for her, but could never find any. Then it dawned on me, "why not try the internet?" I did and boy, am I glad I did!
Your handkerchiefs are THE BEST and I've ordered my second set from you for my mom.
So, a BIG THANK YOU to Vermont Store for carrying handkerchiefs! You saved the day!

A great solution!
I'm a self employed publisher, and single mom. Just as many others in this country, we've had a tough several years financially. It has been my practice to have a box of tissue in almost every room, but as we are learning to spend less at the grocery store, those boxes have disappeared. It occurred to me last Christmas that if everyone had a few handkerchiefs, we would never again be forced to pay continually for tissues. So that's what I got for Christmas gifts. My family and friends are not used to using handkerchiefs so they are not sold on my idea yet, but I'm leading the way. The solution is there if any of them choose to follow. And like another lady said, they are not readily available in stores. They last for many decades. I have handkerchiefs that were my mom's and they are in fine condition. I have a handkerchief by my computer, one on my night stand, one in my purse. When I go out to work in my garden, or train my horse, there's one in my pocket. Sorry for such length to this story, but I get excited about great solutions and this is certainly one!! Thanks for the handkerchief!! My family will continue to receive them for Christmas!

You made my mom happy
Thank you for having these handkerchiefs in your catalog.
My mom wanted ladies hankies so bad, she was tired of having to pull out men's hankies that are so big.
She asked if I could get some, i asked in different stores, but no one had them, and I remembered your catalog had some I bought them and surprised her with them. Oh happy days!
You saved me a lot of time and running around.
P.S. bought the lemon cake as well

Not the usual use for a hankie!
I ordered these hankies to make a tiered skirt. I had made one from handkerchiefs several years ago, and had been looking for more to make a second skirt. These were just what I needed!
