Exactly as described I don't know why, but this kind of sock is rare or even nonexistent in local stores. Thank you for offering these. March 2, 2015
Hard to find wool knee socks are good but could be better It's hard to find warm wool knee socks, so I was excited to order these. They are ok. I wish they were thicker and softer. They are warmer than the average knee-high trouser sock, but I hope Vermont Country Store will work with the manufacturer to make something thicker and softer, with a nice cushion on the bottom of the foot for extra warmth. Why is it so hard to find warm socks for women? February 22, 2015
The dye comes out of these socks when washed I first washed them with grey towels and black and brown was on the towels. I then hand washed them and a lot of dye came out. They are warm so I kept them. I've washed them by hand several times and the dye keeps coming out! January 14, 2015
Warm and Comfortable Socks I have been wearing knee high socks most of my life but it is nearly impossible to find them and find comfortable ones. The Vermont Country Store merino socks are perfect. They kept my feet warm and did not bind like other brands do. I got 2 pair for Christmas and have ordered more. I did not have any problems with the dye coming out. I have washed mine several times and they look new. January 10, 2015
Soft & Cozy Socks I have been looking for quality socks for a long time and these are it! They are soft and warm, wash and dry beautifully and stay up. I was also glad to see that they were made in the USA. January 10, 2015
BEST KNEE HIGHS EVER very good quality cotton blend socks. January 9, 2015
Good winter socks I bought one pair of these socks to try them out and liked them enough to buy 3 more pairs. They are warm and not too thick and fit nicely into most of my shoes and boots. I bought the larger size to give them room for shrinking and they did shrink a bit but I forgot and dried them on high heat so maybe they wouldn't have shrunk if they'd been dried on low. I also hate toe seams and find it hard to find socks with flat ones. These socks work well when turned inside out for that purpose. December 23, 2014

What Our Customers Are Saying about Our Women's Cable-Knit Merino Socks …

"These are the most comfortable and durable knee socks I have ever owned. I had bought three pairs about two years ago, and after constant washing and wearing, they have not worn out at all. I just love them!" - Robin, Springfield, MA

"I purchased two pairs of these socks a few years ago, and they are the best. It is difficult to find good-quality knee socks these days, and I was happy to find these here. I love the wool for warmth, as my feet are often the first things to get cold and make me cold all over. I wear them winter after winter. I'm happy to see that they are still available because I want to purchase more." - Laura Mirmino-Jones, Cromwell, CT
