Oh how that takes me back I was so excited when looking through your online catalog to see Lemon Up Shampoo. I haven't seen that ANYWHERE in DECADES! My sister and I just LOVED that shampoo when we were teenagers. We'd save up our allowance just to buy it since it wasn't one of the cheapest brands back then that my Dad would ONLY buy. It was good to be able to send a set of shampoo and conditioner to my sister as a Christmas gift. She was thrilled to receive it. It took her down memory lane as well. Squeaky Clean Hair Can Be Had? I have struggled finding a shampoo that truly cleaned my oily hair since Lemon Up was taken off the market in the late 70's. A couple years ago I called the Gillette Company and tried to discuss them reintroducing it with all the aromatherapy on the market and they basically told me to go fly a kite. Imagine my thrill when I found it in your catalog and @ 20% off. I anxiously awaited its arrival and am pleased to report that it is everything I remembered and I once again have clean, full, pretty hair once again. TEENAGE MEMORIES I recently was thrilled that I had found a cherished memory from my teenage years at your store. When I was 13yrs old my sister and I would spend the summer at my Aunt's beach house in BelleHarbor in the Rockaways. I had come back from a day at the beach and for the first time had used a shampoo called lemon-up that was in her guest's bathroom. I was fascinated by the huge lemon that was atop the bottle. Being a blonde, I noticed that the shampoo said brings out the blonde in your hair and makes it lighter. From the moment I unscrewed the lemon top, I was overwhelmed by the beautiful scent of lemons. When I found this by gone shampoo and opened it, I was transported back 40yrs to that wonderful summer at the beach and summers after that. My hair now being a bit more gray was radiantrly lighter and shinier than it has been . Thank you for bringing back this great shampoo and wonderful memories along with it. Nostalgia in a bottle! I grew up in Tucson, Arizona, and fondly remember our beautiful orange and grapefruit trees in the backyard. LemonUp was definitely my favorite shampoo in the early 1970's, and I still love it! A Fresh California Lemon in a Bottle This shampoo reminds me of a wonderful time in my childhood when we always had a beautiful bottle sitting in the shower. My father and mother always loved this shampoo. Although times have become more difficult, I'm fighting a benign brain tumour and my father has passed away, I always keep plenty of this shampoo to remind me of my younger days growing up with my parents.
