Just Like I Remember This Raggedy Ann is just like the one I had as a girl. Only her dress is a different print, same style, however. I plan to give it to my granddaughter and hope she loves it as I always loved mine. Raggedy Ann I have bought about six of these already and given 5 as gifts. All the children love them. It was on sale last time around and I bought one for a really big child -- myself! Every girl should have a Raggedy Ann I don't care how high tech toys get, EVERY little girl should have a Raggedy Ann doll; I had both Ann and Andy growing up. Of course, having two sisters, we all played with them until they were too tattered. I was so glad to see this one sold again, so that the tradition can be continued. They still exist!! I wanted a Raggedy Ann and Andy Doll when I was a kid, but never had the pleasure of owning either doll. I was fortunate to get both from The Vermont Country Store, which I now share them with my younger brother's young grandchildren. New Fans for Raggedy Ann & Andy A friend recently gained custody of her brother's 3 children. One day I found out this friend loved Raggedy Ann. I thought the children needed to learn what their new mom knew about the Raggedys. I went ahead and bought Raggedy Anns for all the girls of 3 of my young friends (4) and a Raggedy Andy for the lone boy so they could all learn together. A Comfort From My Childhood I am going through some very difficult situations in my life right now... and I happened to think of when I was a little girl - I had a Raggedy Ann doll!
