Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great memories I vividly remember having one of these as a child and used to love making pot holders. I purchased this for our six year old granddaughter. Patience is not one of her strong suits, but I know in time she will get the hang of it. We received our first pot holder on New Years Day, it's a treasure that will be used for a long time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from years of creative fun I recalled loving my loom of this type when young. I bought one for my daughter when she was about 5. She STILL finds it soothing and fun to make potholders. When she was littler, the boy next door wanted to use her loom all the time, so I ended up buying him one as well. I've bought bags and bags of the loops over the years. Especially good for rainy summer days, or winter days by the fire...also when a little one is poorly and needs to be kept quietly in bed to recover.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Needed potholders -- decided to make the best ones! My mother once kept me well supplied in good, heavy but flexible potholders. Without her, I needed replacements. I decided to make the best ones. These are heavy enough to be a trivet, flexible enough to grab the edge of a pie plate, and pretty enough to keep on the counter. The loom is sturdy enough for years of use. I ordered more loops to make more in colors for my decor and for small gifts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good for ALL ages,!!!! I ordered this as a cute type of gift for a young girl that was coming for a visit ( stay ,? ) when she started the first potholder, the adults had to help her,? so they thought,? after the first one, she made one all by herself, I had ordered the extra loops, just for good measure,!!! and the adults got into making their own, all in all it was educational,? and a fun thing for ALL ages, evidently, ??? Fred, ( thanks for doing what you do,!!! )

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Three Generations of fun! I purchased this item for my granddaughter and was delighted that I could find the loom in medal. Most of them I have seen advertised are plastic. I had one as a child, got them for my daughters and now my granddaughter. One of those items that never get old!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful afternoon All the stores are carrying the plastic looms this year, but I got to spend an afternoon with our six year old grand-daughter making a potholder, on a loom just like I once had. What a great memory, and now I even have a colorful souvenir.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reliving memories I purchased this metal loom and loops when visiting The Vermont Country Store about a year ago. I absolutely love the quality of both. The loops occasionally have a stray thread, however that does not make the potholder any less sturdy or beautiful. It can just be clipped off. The cotton loops make wonderful thick potholders and the colors are vibrant. I pull this project out every so often, I have refilled my stock of loops, and love reliving the memory of making these old fashioned potholders. I use them everyday!
