Decent marzipan, nice presentation I'm a marzipan junkie, so was excited when a family member gave me these Bergen marzipan fruits for Christmas. They were fresh, and the presentation was beautiful; nice coloration and detail on the fruit shapes. Taste-wise I find it to be a bit sweet, but that's a matter of personal preference, although I like it better than any other American brand I've tried. I prefer Niederegger ( made in Germany with more almonds and less sugar), but it's crazy expensive and I only buy it when I find it on sale. The price of this marzipan is much more reasonable, so if you're looking for an impressive gift that won't break the bank you're not likely to go wrong with this. December 31, 2013
This was just what we needed for Christmas! My local grocery store use to carry this product until three years ago and I have been trying to find it elsewhere and couldn't until now. Thank God for your company! Christmas isn't the same without marzipan. You've help me to restore a family tradition. December 30, 2013

Marzipan for Christmas- I have a very dear friend who loves marzipan better than anything in the world. I decided that he has been SO wonderful to me in the past year that his special gift would be the marzipan from The Vermont Country Store. December 9, 2013
I Remember Mama Our Mother introduced her 4 girls to marzipan when we were very young. I think we liked to think we were eating real fruit. After we were grown and moved out of the house our mother received a box or 4 for Mother's Day, her birthday, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Now we gift each other in memory of our mother, who passed away 4 years ago. November 6, 2013
Very good product Very good product, taste great just a little bit dried but remind me my childhood, my father used to buy some very similar in Mexico, so I could remember those days. April 5, 2013
