Calida Cotton Nightgown
Short women need gowns too!
I love the feel of the fabric, however I have not been able to enjoy wearing it because it is at least five inches too long. I am having the gown shortened. I understand that Calida offers a gown that is 43" long, but I can't locate any. Maybe you can offer the shorter gowns as an option.Thanks.

You won't like this. Poor Fabric
I have always bought my cotton nightgown from Vermont Country Store however the Calida purchase is a real letdown. Fabric tends pill like really cheap cotton. Only reason I have not returned the 3 gowns is because they have sleeves and are generously long. So If you don't mind a little pilling after a couple of washings take the risk. Generous sleeves and length. Up until now I have loved my other gowns. It is difficult to get cotton and sleeves. However when you live with air conditioning in the hot parts of California you really do need the sleeves. Nancy Randall

This is the best gown ever. The 3rd one I have bought. I wear them all year round. They are cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Wash up great! The perfect night gown!

Beautiful and soft to the touch.
I have family in Vevey, Switzerland. When I visited them I always went into the local shops. Sometime I went to Lausanne which is a 15 minute train ride from Vevey, On one trip I bought a white Calida night gown and I love it. It feels soft to the touch and I love sleeping in it.
I bought two more in the U.S.

This gown is so soft.
I had to think about this for a long time. It just seemed
like an lot to pay for a gown but I am glad I did. It is so
soft and has the "give" to it so it does not bind on me. It was a good buy.

Soft and comfortable, satin around neck is so soft and not irritating like lace can be. Washed well and the medium was a perfect fit and true to size. An extra plus for me is that I have a monogramed gown since my last name starts with a C, SNAP! I will order more colors if it holds up to wear.
