It gets mighty chilly up here in the North Country, but there's almost nowhere on this planet that these thermal Original 30° Below Socks won't keep heat in your feet. Ours are the real “Superwash” treated wool that never gets itchy, is remarkably soft, and can be machine washed and dried without pilling or shrinking. The high-pile thermal terry loop inside traps warm air and lets feet breathe. Available in 2 styles: crew and over-the-calf. 70% Merino Superwash wool, 30% nylon. Canada.

Care

Socks are pre-shrunk, turn socks inside out and machine wash in cold water with like colors and tumble dry medium. Do not bleach.

The socks really do work My granddaughter who is a med school student complained about her feet getting cold during the long periods that she had to sit at her computer studying. Being an old Vermont deer hunter I remember how these socks had kept me comfortable on those cold winter days. Extremely warm socks I wanted socks that would keep my feet warm in new boots. The sock purchased cannot be used for that purpose because they are too thick. They can be used to keep warm watching TV outside in the winter time. February 28, 2013

Cold Feet!! I inherited my mom's cold feet. They aren't always cold, but when they are, wow are they cold! And when my feet are cold, all of me is miserable. I saw these socks and decided to give them a try. Great socks. I bought the knee high and they reach my knees. They don't really stay up well but then again I don't like tight socks either. They launder well and feel good. There is a seam across the toe that I wish was not there, but all in all a good purchase. I'll be back for another color! February 1, 2013
Old time thick wool socks These socks are good, but I have reynauds disease which means extremely cold feet all the time. I was a little disappointed because they are not as warm as 2 light pair of wool socks worn together. However, they are nice socks and I do wear them. January 26, 2013
