Our nylon pettipants are a comfortable, non-chafing alternative to a slip.
Living in Atlanta with its hot humid summers, I like to wear loose dresses as much as possible. I love these pettipants because they give me a sense of modesty when my dress is blown up and it saves me from irritated thighs when I get hot and sweaty.

Professional Hidden Comfort and Modesty!
Love this item so much I own three pairs! I'm a dog show judge, and frequently have assignments outdoors in hot weather, or in locations where the air conditioning isn't sufficient. Bending over to examine dogs, or moving about the ring, I was concerned for revealing things that should stay modestly and professionally covered; skirts or dresses are expected attire, but slips just didn't do the job. These pettipants do the yeoman's work of a slip, but also provide modesty just in case - and stay cool and comfortable for the entire assignment. No more weird lumps and bumps from wearing bike shorts under a dress - yippee! - lots cooler, too.

The slip pants are nicely made, but run a little small so that I cannot fit into them just yet. I look forward to doing so though and expect to enjoy them for a long time.

No More Chafing
The pettipants are comfort clothing to me. The fabric is comfortable and prevents the chafing on my inner thigh. The elastic waist is too tight for me, so I changed the elastic and now they are fine. I could not find anything like this in the local stores. Thanks VCS for carrying so many items otherwise unavailable.

What Our Customers Are Saying about Our Nylon Pettipants …
"I love to wear full, knee-length skirts, but I live in Texas where the sun bakes us. I had pretty much stopped wearing skirts due to the discomfort of sweaty legs. Talking to my mom one day about the skirts languishing in my closet, she said that I needed to get some pettipants like my great-grandma used to wear. Well, I knew from regularly perusing The Vermont Country Store catalogs at my grandma's house that they would have something! I got the nylon pettipants in white and black, but I was apprehensive thinking I would just feel sweatier with an extra layer. NOT SO! I love my pettipants, and I wear them religiously with my skirts. As a young-ish teacher, too, it helps to have that extra layer of modesty for wardrobe malfunctions or the gusts that sweep in from the plains. They are soft, comfortable, they don't ride up or slide down, and have held up for many washes so far. If you like to wear skirts and dresses, buy these today, whether you're 22, 32, or 92!" -Kyle, Keller, TX
