Warm and Cozy My Sister recommended these inserts, as she said they keep her feet warm without having to wear socks. They certainly are cozy, but I noticed a distinctive smell after wearing them. Since they're wool, I don't think I can wash them. I won't return, but I will wear them with socks. March 4, 2013
Disappointed I bought a pair of these insoles to keep my feet warm during winter walks. Unfortunately, they seem to be designed for lightweight dress shoes (which don't need woolly insoles) and not for heavier cold-weather shoes or boots. When I wear them, they cover only a thin stripe down the middle of my boots and don't reach the sides of my soles or keep the cold out, and I feel like I'm balancing on top of a ridge. I probably should have bought the men's insoles, because they're shaped more like natural human feet. December 23, 2012
