Coziest robe EVER. This is really the coziest robe I have ever had: EVER. I am always cold, but not in this robe. You will have to get a size larger because it will shrink, quite a bit. I had to get an x large, which is a bit too big, but I do not care. I LOVE THIS ROBE and am sorry I did not know about it years ago. The light color does allow it to gather spots quickly and it is in the washer way too often. All I am afraid of is they will stop making it and I will be cold again! March 1, 2013
Best Robe in the whole wide world! I have owned this robe for a few years now. I love it. It is so warm on chilly mornings. The sleeve length is perfect and the high neck keeps the chill away. The only draw back is there should be more colors and darker colors. I read my newspaper in it while drinking my morning tea and the newsprint has stained the front. Finally, A Robe For Me I have been searching for a new winter robe for 2 years and have tried at least 6 different ones from various sources. This cotton quilted robe is so much better for me than the velour ones. It is comfortable, warm and does not "shock" me like the polyester ones do in this dry, cold Ohio winter January 2, 2013
Great for a person who prefers snap closings My mother wanted a long robe with snap closings, and they are hard to find! I got one, but the snap placement was off and she didn't like the gaps it caused. I saw this quilted robe and thought it might work. She is thrilled. Very heavy robe - perfect for unheated areas This robe is so heavy and stiff that I think it would be very uncomfortable to wear. After it's washed, maybe it would be better, but I felt kind of like the kid in the snowsuit who couldn't move :). December 8, 2012
Quilted Robes warmed our bodies and our hearts My mom and I both bought the matching quilted robes that Vermont Counrty store carries exclusively. They had been hard to find anywhere else ! Mom and I looked for years. Once we found them and bought them, we always wore them together whenever she spent the night with us. We took a picture of us in them last holiday season and framed one for each of us. My 92 year old mom passed away a few months ago in October and is a sad holiday for me this year. The quilted robe that was hers is now a cherished treasure of mine. Even though I washed it, the robe still has a little bit of her special scent on it. Instead, I washed it in hot water (you are supposed to use warm water). The hot water and fluffing it up in the drier brought it to size. I might be able to save a little on the heating bill.
