This long cotton nightgown elicited a chorus of "oohs and ahhs," from the female clerks in our store when we hung it for display. "100% cotton knit is my favorite for sleeping because it doesn't get all tangled when I roll over," said one. "I love the fern embroidery and pintucking on the yoke and hem," exclaimed another who sews in her spare time. Others appreciated the gentle gathers at the yoke that create a loose, body-skimming fit, and how the nightgown easily slips over your head thanks to the button placket. Approx. 52" long. Machine wash and dry. Imported.

To avoid shrinkage: Machine wash in cold water with like colors on gentle cycle. Use only non-chlorine bleach if necessary. Tumble dry or line dry and use warm iron if needed.

Too much shrinkage!!! The fabric of this gown is very nice but I must agree with another reviewer who stated that the sleeves shrunk to a 3/4 length and the length of the gown shrunk to mid calf! I am 5'4" so my height is not the issue. Not wanting the constriction of the neckline being buttoned all the way up, I left it unbuttoned 3-4 buttons down. It tends to then 'crawl' back over my shoulders! I know this is from the yoke design, but really!!! I bought two of theses gowns and will be returning them for a refund. March 4, 2013

Nice embroidery design & fabric, but..... The embroidery design is very nice. This gown fit all right in the shoulders, but is a bit full in the body. There is no button hole in the right cuff. It was closer to 48" long than 52". The fabric felt stiff on the surface which I thought was sizing and would come out in the wash. It did soften in the wash (cold water, low temp. dry), but the sleeves shrank a good 2" and the length is now 45". November 10, 2012
