Rated 2 out of 5Â by slypants Fit is too Restrictive
This is a very high quality nightgown but the fit was not comfortable for me. The neck is too restrictive and the wrists were too tight. I returned it.

This nightgown is very well made and the material is soft. Hope laundering doesn't diminish the softness.
It is a quality product.
Great for Maine's cold winter nights!

I can't say enough about this gown. It is perfect - nice detailing, big pockets, thick flannel, high neck for warmth. I love it.

I love the Eileen West gowns; they are definitely worth the higher price. The main thing I like is that they don't shrink much, unlike the Lantz gowns I have gotten in the past. I am only 60" tall, so a gown that is supposed to be 52" long should NOT be ending 4" above my ankle bone! The Eileen West gowns only shrink a little bit when washed and dried. Plus they are warm, roomy, cozy, and beautifully designed.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Love Great Pyrenees The perfect flannel gown
This is my second nightgown in the same style. The neckline is high enough to stay warm in a cold room. The pockets are generously sized and unobtrusive. The fabric is excellent -- tightly woven and brushed on both sides. The purple color is lovely, with a hint of plum shade. The lace on the wrists is soft, not scratchy on the The stitching is tight and straight. I am 5'3" and the length is slightly above my ankles, so I don't trip over the fabric. I think these gowns are cut a wee bit larger than Lanz gowns.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by debbers The Good, The Bad, but definately NOT the ugly
I received the Forget Me Not gown and "matching" robe in Peony from my best friend for Christmas. Here's the good: great quality, beautifully put together, impeccable embroidery and warm as toast for my Minnesota winters. Here's the bad: the buttons are very tiny so Arthritic hands will have a hard time with them. The sleeves are a bit shorter than long sleeve and the neck is a little small. I have to unbutton the neckline's top two buttons, just to get it over my head and I have arthritis, so it's a pain, literally. The gown and the robe do not match. My robe is a darker shade; more like burgundy and the gown is more deep fucshia. The beautiful embroidery on the trim of the robe is a different pattern than the all-over print of the gown. The way that the trim is made is a bit uncomfortable around my neck. A shawl collar would have been a better design choice. That being said, I decided to keep it because it is absolutely beautiful and very high quality and it was a gift from my best friend in the world. VCS very graciously offered to let me return it even after I had washed it and worn it. I will just wear them separately. As for the buttons; I just leave them open.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by New England fan Quality hard to find anymore
I thought they didn't make things of this quality anymore. I have bought three of these over the last couple of years and they are so pretty and so very well made. I'm about to order another in the new color purple.
They have so many dainty details, from the lace trim, the real shell buttons, the buttoned cuffs, pockets!, the quality of the fabric and more. Plus they are very warm during our New England winters.
They are not cheap but for the quality and attractiveness, they are more than worth the price.
