As rugged as the Green Mountains, yet as comfy as a seat by the woodstove, these Vermont-made Darn Tough Socks take your feet places they’ve never been. Soft, fine-gauge Merino wool ensures that the socks are both highly breathable and itch free, and that they naturally regulate the temperature of your tootsies so they stay warm in winter and cool in summer. And with a high stitch count—and the addition of nylon and Lycra®—these blended wool socks securely hug your feet for a stay-put fit. Also feature a cushioned foot bed, reinforced heel and toe, and a deep heel pocket that helps eliminates blisters and hot spots. Merino wool/nylon/Lycra. Machine wash and dry. USA of domestic and foreign material.

These are great and very comfortable. They are warm and fit great in shoes or boots. I need to order more.
Thanks for making a great sock and excellent quality.

I have been hiking with the "Thursday Hikers" in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, weekly, for twenty one years. During this period, I have worn many brands and styles of socks, but never one that equals your "Darn Tough" socks. They hug my feet and never wrinkle or bunch-up. I am not sure they will last forever. So I am buying another pair for me and one for my hiking buddy. I bought my first pair of "Darn Tough" socks when I visited your store about two years ago.
Oh yes, we hike on Thursday.

My husband always loves to get wool boott socks. I have found that the ones that I get from Vermont Country Store last and he loves them!
