Great Robe
I bought this in the purple for my wife and she loves it. Substantial quality, very well made. She washed it and there was considerable lint in the filter, but that certainly does not diminish the comfort nor the quality. Excellent purchase!

Quality robe
My wonderful robe (and very first dealings with the Vermont Country Store) is everything I expect from a company which guarantees their products so well.
I had searched for a chenille robe of high quality and by that I mean one, which does not shed profusely and endlessly and does not leave lint on my white denim furniture when I wear it in the evening curled up on the sofa.
I had initiated a "Live-Help" session in order to hear a bit more about the item I was about to select and I was advised to wash and dry the robe prior to wearing it and that after 2 washings the chenille would have very little tendency to shed at all.
I washed my new robe once on the delicate cycle of my washing machine and dried it thoroughly on the permanent cycle of the dryer and it came out just beautifully! Practically no lint at all from the washing and the average amount from the time in the dryer.
This is truly the sign of quality chenille, not to be confused with the cheap imitations.
The robe is wonderfully warm and very cozy, yet very light-weight and soft and the fiber content of 75% cotton and 25% polyester is just the right choice, rendering it easy to care for and giving it a beautiful drape.
I very much appreciate the buttons, all the way down the front, keeping the robe from "gaping" which so often happens when you just have an inner tie and a belt to close a robe with and the nicely deep side pockets are also a great feature.
The length is perfect; I need to be fast, up and down stairs with 2 very active Golden Retrievers and I cannot be tripping over my robe with the two in tow.
