Rated 5 out of 5Â by VTB Very comfortable in warm weather--very practical sleeve length!
We are having a prolonged drought and heat wave here in California, so the other wonderful robes I've purchased from Vermont Country Store in the past are just too warm right now. This duster is perfect for use as a lightweight bathrobe, or as a housecoat for a day at home on a hot day. It could work as a swimsuit cover up, too! The terry trim absorbs moisture and is very comfortable. The cotton plisse has the feather weight of seersucker, but has a much more pleasing texture and a more sophisticated look.

Really don't like the fabric. Even washed it to try to soften it. Didn't work. It isn't pretty either.

I purchased this for my mother. It is so her personality! This is truly a mom, grand mom, great grand mom beloved mother in law rob. The picture does not do it justice. Loved it so much bought one for my mother in law. She beamed. No zipper problems. True to size suggested.

I have worn a version of this robe for 20+ years but had not found it anywhere in many years. As I needed this type of robe for a trip and a week's hospital stay, I bought it. The fabric is lovely but thin. The zipper is not sturdy, so don't yank.

I have a couple of these dusters and when I saw this one which is a different pattern from the ones I have I just had to have it. It wears and washes very well. Its perfect for every season except winter.

My little retirement neighborhood is friendly but very conservative; we are of an age where we used to dress in stockings and gloves and hats to go into "town".
Yesterday morning I thought it was dark enough to sneak out in my new robe to get the paper off my lawn, when my neighbors garage opened and out she backed. She waved and called out a cherry "love your robe" as she drove off. I smiled and thought good thng I had it on!
I love the robe too especially the zipper is surrounded by cozy terry cloth so it is gentle on my skin.
