Munsingwear Mid-Rise Briefs (Pkg. of 3)
Not our father's Munsingwear anymore.
Dad and I both wore them for many years but I stopped about 5 years ago as the quality diminished. Thought I would try again, but disappointed. Mid-Rise is now more like bikini. Material is very thin and elastic not of the same quality as the old Munsingwear. Flap is too low and loose.

The horizontal fly on these is a great innovation. I don't know why this design isn't more prevalent in all brands. Now that I've owned a pair, it makes perfect sense! The rest of the fit and comfort is great too. I've replaced all my old underwear with Munsingwear horizontal fly briefs and boxer briefs.

Munsingwear is the best
Having used Munsingwear underwear for many years, it was very disappointing to find that they had apparently gone out of business. Then, what a pleasant surprise to find the Country Store, still carry's my favorite under shorts. How or why is a mystery, but please keep it up.

felt like 2 sizes too small

On first wearing, size 42 briefs fitted OK although they seemed a bit "sack-like" in the front. After washing, the bottom edging around both legs became very loose and "wavy," and the pouch is too droopy. Size 40 might have fitted better at the legs, but might be too tight around the top. Not designed for a 210-pound man of my age and build!

Vermont Country Store was very cooperative.
I owned 2 packs (6) of the subject merchandise.
Over the months, the waistband lost is elasticity and therefore did not stay in place.
After explaining my dilemma to the VCS folks they promptly replaced all 6 pairs with no questions asked.
These folks know how to deal with the customer and that is why they are still in business for all these years.
Keep up the good work !!
