Love the covered waist . . . These panties are really comfortable; I love how they "hug" me, and I really appreciate having my skin protected from all elastic. But I wish they came in various torso lengths, like some of VCS's other offerings. As it is, I have to roll the waistband down several times to be comfortable. Actually, I'd love a "hipster" version of these panties, with a slightly wider covered waistband . . . now that would be perfect! April 23, 2013
not what expected The cotton was not nearly as soft as expected. Actually kind of scratchy. Expected more from 100% cotton. Band on leg comes out very wrinkled. Don't like waistband either. January 4, 2013
VCS goes the extra mile in comfort!! I can't wear polyester or other man-made fibers. These wonderful all-cotton panties remind me of the kind my mother bought when i was a child. ALL the elastic is covered---YEAH! If you need a little more here or there (i need a shorter crotch-length in front, and longer in back) you can slowly, gently and CAREFULLY stretch these for a more individualized fit. I'm sure neither the manufacture nor Vermont Country Store would condone this--please don't sue me! I wear mine wrong-side out so that the seams don't irritate my skin. I'm a very short petite but have been on serious steroids for several years. The same size has accommodated over a 30lbs. weight increase!! I put them through the washer and dryer-which shrinks them just a little, as one would expect, and "adjust" as mentioned above. You could do this when pants are wet from the washer, and line dry, too. I haven't been so happy in my undies since i was a child! Most comfortable brief you'll ever wear I started purchasing these briefs several years ago for my sister who had a latex allergy. The covered elastic waist band was ideal. She liked them so much I purchase some for her every Christmas. Then I thought, why shouldn't I get some for myself? I fell in love and will not buy any other briefs. They are the best!
