Don't waste your money! Not sure why these socks received a 5 star rating. After the 3rd time I wore them and washed them (hand washed and line dried) they had worn through under the ball of my foot and under the heel. And they didn't keep my feet warm like other wool socks I've purchased for the same price. Not recommended. March 7, 2013

WARM feet Since I just ret'd. home from heart stent surgery I am loving my rag wool socks & the warmth they provide. The synthetic and all cotton socks just can't provide the warmth that wool does. These also wash & dry wonderfully well. Thank you. They do seem expensive and I would like another pair but hesitate because of the cost. December 18, 2012
