We took our cotton T-shirt and "grew" it to a 42" long cotton knit sleepshirt because almost everyone we've asked admits to sometimes sleeping in a T-shirt. Short-sleeve crew-neck style sleepshirt is generously cut to allow for first-wash shrinkage. Gray is 85% cotton, 15% polyester; all other colors are 100% cotton knit. Machine wash and dry. Imported.

Materials

100% Cotton Knit (all colors with the exception of gray)
60% cotton, 40% poyester

Care

Machine wash warm, use only non chlorine bleach when needed. Tumble dry medium. Warm iron as needed. GRY: Machine wash cold with like colors. Use only non chlorine bleach when needed. Tumble dry low. Warm iron as needed.

Exactly what I was looking for at the right price Amazing how much retailers are getting for something as simple as an overgrown T-shirt :) The price at VCS was still a bit on the high-side, but it was the least expensive I found. BAD SIZING - ITEM RETURNED - WHERE IS REFUND? I usually take a size midum. I ordered this item in a large because I wanted it to fit big. It was skin tight and is no way a size large - it is maybe a small at best. I returned the item, but so far I have not seen any refund -why is that? January 23, 2013
Why did they stop selling the White ones? We have been buying these nightshirts from Vermont Country Store for over 15 years. They are great for sleeping and hanging around the house. BUT, a couple of years ago someone at VCS apparently decided not to carry the 100% White ones. I now 'settle' for the 100% Blue ones... but sure wish they would start selling the Whites ones again! Now he can answer the door! My man sleeps with a shirt on to keep his shoulders warm. He recently told me he'd looked for a sleepshirt, but couldn't find one, and I immediately thought of VCS. Sure enough, there they are in all forms, and in order to continue the t-shirt concept went with this product. It is comfy and covers his ... er ... unmentionables, so much so that he just recently said when I asked how he liked it, "I do! Now, I could conceivably answer the door!!"
