$14.95 Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Pin it on Pinterest Share on Google+

This assortment of Jelly Babies, a fruity candy that’s crystallized on the outside with a soft jelly-like center similar in texture to a gummy bear, includes apple, orange, lemon, raspberry, blackberry, and peach flavors. Jelly Babies were originally launched in 1918 as “Peace Babies” to celebrate the end of WWI. Production stopped in WWII, and these fruity gummy candies were then re-introduced in 1953 as Jelly Babies, becoming a British favorite—in fact, Beatles fans pelted the band with Jelly Babies during concerts because they were reportedly favored by George Harrison. 2.2 lb. bag.

  • Jelly-like center with a firm outer coating
  • Assortment includes apple, orange, lemon, raspberry, blackberry, and peach
  • Jelly Babies were first introduced in 1918

Soft on the inside, firm on the outside—Jelly Babies are bursting with fruit flavor.

Old Time Candy Years ago when I was a young boy we use to buy this candy in our local candy store. Over the years the candy store's went out of business due to big box stores coming in and the big store did not carry the candy. But I am glad to find it with your store, we love it. August 9, 2013
