Rated 5 out of 5 by Something I Occasionally Treat Myself To I've used this soap for about 25 years. I often give Vinolia as gifts. I like the fresh, clean scent and the fact that it doesn't shrink down as quickly as other soaps. Some people use it just as a facial cleanser, but I use it in the shower. Vinolia is mild and doesn't cause my skin to break out like some other soaps do. I appreciate that the Vermont Country Store has continued to make this product easy to find. June 11, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Heavy citronella scent I love finding soaps & aftershaves from days gone by. So when I saw Vinolia Soap, I had high hopes. It creates a rich lather and seems to be a great moisturizer. The problem that I personally have with it is the very heavy citronella scent. I felt it smelled too much like a outdoor summer candle to keep the bugs away. Luckily, the scent really doesn't cling to the skin. I'll use it this summer when I'm going to sit outside after a shower to help keep Mosquitos away. Unfortunately, it won't be in my regular rotation. May 21, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Luxury Soap With A History Who wouldn't want to get a glimpse of some of the luxury items offered in the 1st Class section of the famous ship, The Titanic? This Vinolia soap is the same beautifully-scented, creamy-rich soap that was supplied for all 1st Class passengers, way back then. I found it "by accident" at the Vermont Country Store, and now it is my favorite soap, ever. I like the scent, and the way it lathers. Yes it is expensive, but I love this divine soap and think I am worth having itl It's so classy. March 17, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by Best soap on market for guys and dolls This is a very long lasting soap. I know why it was available in the first-class cabins on the Titanic. Thank you for continuing to make this product available. Keep up the great work on providing unique products. Janis December 12, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by FIRST CLASS THEN AND NOW My wife has sensitive skin, and when it comes to soaps designed for sensitive skin, believe me, she's tried them all. Vinolia is the one for her: Not just because it smells terrific-------Not just because it was supplied to the First Class passengers aboard the Titanic, but because it is the only soap that doesn't cause her skin to break out. The service from The Vermont Country Store is equally First Class! May 20, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by My Soapy Friend I love this soap!! I wash my hands all day long with this soap and they are not as dry as they used to be. Thanks to the cold cream in those generous size bars and the wonderful smell every time I lather up. I will continue to buy this lovely product. Thanks! July 24, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Vinolia Soap Love Vermont Country Store, and have visited in the past. Recently, my youngest grandson, Ryan, had to write a VIP assignment for 2nd grade and chose Titanic Captain Edward Smith. We purchased two cakes of Vinolia Soap, which was provided to first class passengers on the Titanic, so Ryan could share the soap with the class when giving his report. We didn't originally intend to bathe with the soap, just to use as a prop. However, we are now both using the soaps and love them!!! February 28, 2013

What Our Customers Are Saying about Our Original Vinolia Soap …

"I have re-ordered this soap for years because it is the best soap I have ever tried. It does not dry out my skin, even though I've lived in some fairly dry and cold climates: the mountains in SW Montana, the high desert of Eastern Oregon, and northern Wisconsin. Yes, it is expensive, but it outlasts any other soap I've used. I'd recommend this soap to anyone who is sensitive to perfumes."-Nancy Hafer, Lac du Flambeau, WI
