Showered with bright, cheery florals on a winter-white background, this cozy 100% cotton flannel nightgown is ideal for keeping both the chills and the cold-weather blues at bay. Soft gathers in front and back gently cascade down from the shoulder yoke for an easy unrestricted fit, while the high neckline and banded cuffs offer added protection against falling temps. Pretty, lightweight flannel
This is a lovely, light-weight flannel nightgown that runs about a size smaller than stated. Vermont Country Store very graciously exchanged the too-small ones I bought and criticized earlier even though they had been worn and washed. They didn't shrink; they just run small.

Cheery indeed
How refreshing to have a USA-made garment!! The fabric is a good substantial weight, and the sleeves and length are good. I will enjoy this gown for a long time.

Skimpy width
Serviceable? Yes, generous? No. This 1X size is 61" across the hip, compared to 70" & 72" in my other very well known brands of flannel nightgowns which are only XL's. I like a roomy gown so I would not order these again. On the plus side the fabric is a nice thick flannel. Manufacturers have been doing this for a long time now to cut costs and unfortunately, unless they give you garment measurements on-line, you can't tell they've done this until you get the item. Disappointed.

Vermont Country Store Flannels are the BEST!
I have been a customer of VC store for years. One of the main things I purchase for myself is a winter flannel nightgown. They are hard to find in our local shops. I have always purchased Lanz of Salzburg brand until now. This year, I had to cut back on my spending and they had their own brand on sale, so I purchased one. They are SUPERIOR to the Lanz brand. The flannel is heavier/thicker, the material is softer, the length is perfect and best of all, no shrinkage. I wish you could buy these all the time....I want MORE!!! PLEASE! AND the price is so much more affordable!!!! Thank you from a nice and warm Gramma!!!!

Pretty & Snuggy Warm
VERY comfortable & perfect to snuggle up in during cold weather. I was afraid the floral fabic design would feel "off" for cold weather wear; instead it's a real spirit lifter.
Like it so much that I am buying a second one while it's still available.
