Multi-purpose classic toy -Opens the door to future musical talent This toy was my son's favorite in the late 60s. It made music just by pulling it, satisfying him when he was too uncoordinated to "play" it with the attached striker. As he became a toddler & more coordinated, he began to use the striker to play/hit and make his own music. I believe it started his interest in music, later teaching himself to play the piano. I tried to buy it for other children in recent years & couldn't find it - so thanks Vermont Country Store, for stocking it for grandchildren! January 4, 2015
best 1st birthday present My great-nephew loves to play with his mother's xylophone at grandma's house. I was very happy to find this toy again so he could have his own! March 19, 2013
This is great. I had a toy like this when I was a child.(I am 66). I was so happy to find this for my grand son (9 mo.) He loves it. January 8, 2013
Just like I remembered! When I saw this xylophone pull toy I remembered how much our kids enjoyed the pull toy when they were little- back in the late 60's & early 70's. I figured our 15 month old grandbaby would really like it as well! Turns out I was right as our son just called to say how much she liked her pull toy and was using it more than her other new toys!!! What a great toy! The Fisher-Price Pull-a-Tune Xtlophone Our children had this toy during the 80's and loved it. We still have this toy in our home for when the grand kids come to play. We bought two of these toys for our grandsons' birthdays. It will surely bring them lots of fun and musical skills. The price was terrific! December 22, 2012
