Disappointment The refill bag of chips were fresher and tastier according to my brother. The tin of Charles Chips and a refill bag were his birthday gift. He said the chips in the can were sort of stale and there was no taste of salt. I plan to go to KY in mid-July and told him I would order again before I go so I can try them for myself. Charles Chips and Childhood When I was young, on Friday afternoon, we would wait for the Charles Chip Truck to come into my neighborhood, it was like the Ice Cream Truck to us. We would wait on the side walk with our tins and when he pulled up you would give him 50 cents, yes 50 cents, and he would give you a bag of chips to refill your tin. I love having the tin sitting on top of my refrigerator just like my Mom did when I was a child. Thank you for the memories and the chips, which are still the best! April 12, 2013

MY SISTER WAS RIGHT... Okay, okay...my Sister was right...these are the best Potato Chips ever! These are not only light and crispy, but perfect size for me to stuff in my mouth. They are very 'Potatoey'. They taste like you made them at home and fried them in a light tasteless oil...fresh. This bag is going to go fast. I really like dipping them in Sour Cream for a snack!
