didn't work I was excited to find the slide viewer at the Vermont Country Store as I have several carousels of my dad's slides that I wanted to view. It arrived and I went to the store to buy new batteries for it. I put them in and the contacts worked lighting up the bulb. But when it was placed back in the unit it didn't work well. A couple of times it lit, then went dark. Frustrating. But I called customer service and got a very helpful employee who walked me through the exchange process. I'm hopeful this was just a defective unit and the next one will work. February 6, 2013

Thank goodness for this product. Our wedding pictures were taken by our best man....he forgot he only had film for slides.....the slide viewer works very well....now where did I put those slides? Only have 3 more years to find them before our 50th anniversary! December 28, 2012
Well constructed with a bright light Hundred of slides sitting in plastic sleeves I have converted some to DVD, and this little viewer helps to identify which slide I want to add to that process. December 23, 2012
You can still find stuff from the "older" days I was just browsing your site when I came across the viewer gadget. It reminded me that I had once had such a viewer and somewhere along the line got rid of it. Well, I now needed one to review the slides I collected years ago, in order to now put them into my computer files. This will certainly be a great help when I do start this project. Can see old memories again My folks took a lot of photos and had them made into slides when I was a kid. When they couldn't live on their own anymore, we packed up as much as we could.
