A Touch of Nostalgia We live in Breezy Point, NY and were affected by Hurricane Sandy. In doing over our living room, my husband and I, as we have done with the rest of our home, try to modernize while keeping a bit of what's important for us, family memories. We have a great round decorative side table which belonged to my mother-in-law, Faith, who purchased it around 1935. I have refinished it and oiled it with a fine tung oil finish and always seek to expose most of the top, while preserving it from an occasional plant or fresh flowers. I wanted a small table cloth to cover part of it. I knew what I wanted and found it in your online catalog! I chose 2 different colors to change once in a while. Thank you for helping us to refurbish our home while preserving family memories! June 6, 2013
Great quality in lovely hues I bought these napkins to go inside breadbaskets I purchased at the same time. I chose the Mountain Weave napkins (terracotta) because they coordinated so well with wood. The quality of the napkins are top shelf. I could not be any happier with the outcome especially considering every item was made in the USA! I greatly appreciate it that Vermont Country identifies the origin of their products. Their customer service is the very best. I wish other companies would try to imitate them. March 13, 2013
Quality is Everything! Once you purchase one of these Mountain Weave table cloths or napkins you are hooked on wanting more in your home. They also make splendid gifts and are something you will cherish for many years. In 1968 I was given a set as a wedding gift a table cloth and napkin set and then a family member gave me a gift card for Christmas to the Vermont Country Store - and there they were!!!!! How I love my new set that match my Johnson Bros Hearts and Flowers dishes. Splendid! Thank you! March 6, 2013
Love my Mountain Weave Cotton Napkins Washed beautifully and with a little extra spray on the red pasta sauce stains they looked like new again. January 28, 2013
Family Tradition My mother purchased several of the mountain weave tablecloths for herself when I was a young woman. I admired them very much. I waited to get one for myself until my boys were older. When we retired I got two more tablecloths and tried a set of the napkins. I liked the napkins very much and recently bought a second set to go with the other tablecloth. I purchased a tablecloth for my daughter-in-law a couple of years ago and she always has it on her kitchen table-albeit-covered with a vinyl topper. January 22, 2013
Pretty & Practical I bought two napkins/two place mats for myself and two more sets to send as a gift. They are prettier than the pictures show. The colors--I bought Wedgwood Blue & white and Cranberry & white- are pretty. I'd been looking for something made in the USA to send to a dear friend in Japan. These seemed just right. I am about to set the table with my set; I know they will look great. They have a nice feel to them. I'm a little worried about washing them, but will follow the instructions when necessary. Nice gift for my friend and myself, too! January 8, 2013
Beautiful, Durable and Traditional I use my Traditional Mountain Weave cotton napkins atop my bedside table--they're the perfect size for mine and look much prettier than a doily. The napkins seem very durable and would indeed make great dining napkins as well. January 5, 2013
LOVE YOUR HOMESPUN TABLECLOTHS!! We recently purchased our second Vermont Country Store Homespun Tablecloth. I bought our first tablecloth about 8 years ago. I don't use it every day, but I do use it when we have dinner guests during the year and always on Thanksgiving and Christmas for family dinners. Our family now totals eight adults and five grandchildren so this year it was time to expand our seating to two tables for our holiday time together. After washing the larger new cloth, it looks just as beautiful as the one we have had for 8 years. Due to the superior quality of these tablecloths, I'm sure both of our tablecloths will eventually be passed down to our children, maybe even to our grandchildren. (If you wish to delete the below comments, it's OK): I've washed both tablecloths in our washing machine multiple times with regular laundry detergent, an added fabric softener, and I have also used a liquid stain remover on red icing and red soda stains. I have also added liquid bleach to the wash cycle to remove stains. The ecru shade has become a little lighter, but is still a beautiful off-white shade that is perfect with our country decor. Also, I tumble dry these tablecloths in our drier on "medium" heat for about 20 minutes then switch to "low" heat and let the tablecloth tumble until dry. Since our table is 84" in length, I ordered our second cloth for the next size longer. After drying our new cloth, it shrank about 5 inches, which made it the perfect size for our 84" table. I know your washing recommendations are more conservative than mine, but these tablecloths have stood up beautifully to my personal preferences for laundry care. These tablecloths provide the perfect touch for home dining!!! December 31, 2012

What Our Customers Are Saying about Our Traditional Mountain Weave 100% Cotton Napkins …

"I have used these napkins for years and absolutely love them. They are absorbent, wash beautifully, require no ironing, and always add beauty to the table. I have not had to use thousands of paper napkins because I started using cloth ones 20 years ago. I just ordered some in a new color!" - Penny Peterson, Rochester, NY
