This dense, moist fruitcake made in a small Vermont bakery (so small, in fact, our supply is very limited) will forever change your opinion of this much maligned dessert. The baker mixes everything by hand, using only the best ingredients including apricots, cashews, dates, raisins, walnuts, Vermont honey, and flour. Each cake is baked, then drenched with brandy and orange liqueur. Absolutely no dyes or preservatives. 1 lb. loaf serves 6-8 people.
