One of our customers wrote about these Canadian police gloves, "My first pair lasted me somewhere between eight and ten years; the soft leather shell never wore through or became stiff." The supple leather lined with thick, protective pile is a style that's been keeping Canadian policemen's and dog sled champs' hands warm since 1947. Shell is 100% leather; lining is 75% polyester, 25% acrylic. Dry clean. Made in Canada of Canadian/USA materials.

  • To determine size, measure around your knuckles; small size will fit most women
  • Wind-resistant genuine leather outside
  • Thick, warm pile on the inside

Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful Men's Gloves I bought these as an early Christmas gift for my son to use this winter while he's clearing snow at his new house (Buffalo, NY area). I can't attest to their longevity because my son hasn't worn them yet, but I can say they are beautifully made, with a wonderful, thick lining, so I fully expect they will serve him well. These gloves are up to the high standards that I have come to expect from the Vermont Country Store. Pleased with my purchase here. September 23, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by LOVED MY GLOVES! I bought these gloves and just loved them...they were so warm and comfortable. Until someone stole them from me on the subway. ARRGGGHHH! January 26, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very warm gloves Gave these gloves as a Christmas gift and my son said they are very warm. The plush lining feels good on the hands and the leather outside is flexible. He said they are comfortable and kept his hands toasty the couple of cold days we recently had. January 11, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Quality Authentic Canadian Police Gloves I purchased a pair for both my husband and teen-age son. My husband, a police officer himself, verifies that these are really worn by Canadian officers! Both hubby and son are wearing them in the cold January which has finally arrived here in Nashville area. January 11, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Poorly made, fake fleece My husband has Raynaud's in his fngers and I purchased these for him hoping they would help, but when I saw the quality of the glove and the seaming on the fingers, I decided against even giving them to hm in order to find out if they worked. My guess is that the original policeman's gloves thirty years ago were very different. Writing a negative review does not feel good. January 11, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Warm, great looking. I have Reynauds Syndrome - cold hands. I've been through a number of gloves costing twice as much. None are as warm and there is no comparison in looks. Wish they were sized for woman. Bought black as the cream/yellow are sold out. May buy a pair in that color in the fall. March 17, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent, sturdy and warm gloves I purchased these gloves to replace some very worn gloves I had been using for years and were never very warm. I also wanted to find something made in the USA or Canada and these looked like just the thing. I am very glad I purchased them as the leather is beautiful and very soft, yet seems like it should be very durable. I actually ordered the small size to start, but ended up exchanging them for mediums as I like a looser fit. The leather does stretch a bit and soften up with use. Overall, these are great gloves and well worth the price. February 16, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Cold hands, warm gloves My husband was very happy to receive these gloves as one of his Christmas presents. His circulation is not great, so his hands are usually cold. He found the gloves to be very cozy and warm, but they require some breaking in as they are somewhat stiff. He expects them to become his "go to" gloves for winter in Michigan. January 7, 2015
