Rated 5 out of 5Â by BB16 Love this for a summery looking bed
I got this as a cover for my bed. I liked the summery/beach stripes and the ease of care. I have pets and having something that is easy to toss in the wash is a must.
That said, this is a very nice layer to sleep under. I combined it with linen sheets and a 2 layer muslin blanket, and the combination is divine. Not too heavy on my ankles, easy to snuggle in to, breathable.... Not too warm, not too cold for these early spring nights which can vary from mid-40's to 50's.
I couldn't be happier.
PLUS my mom just visited and loved it as well, I think she will get one too!
Oh, I didn't notice the shrinking until I read the other reviews. I suppose it did shrink a bit after putting it in the dryer, but the dryer also broke it in a bit and made it softer. If you really need the dimensions to stay the same, consider line drying this item.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Analyzergal Love it - ordered 2nd for other bed!
Live in Midwest with cold winters & hot summers - needed something to dress up guest bed WITHOUT hitting floor - (not a dust ruffle gal - may looks nice, but in my view...just a dust collector & route for bugs to travel, etc). Got the pastel stripe seersucker bedspread twin size & it is fantastic! Beautiful - really dresses up the room & guests loved it! Just the right amount of warmth over sheet (thicker than sheet) + breathable. Also, it came as about 78" wide & 108" long - I washed it in warm & dried it in lower dryer cycle & it shrunk 6" in length to 102" - width about the same... maybe 1" less. Even better since don't need it hitting floor AT all! But covers what we need it to cover. Loved it so much we are getting blue stripe for our bed today & plan to "shrink" it via washing as well! We plan on using it year-round with just an additional small thinner cover for feet if needed.

Out new bedspread on our king size bed looks great! It was exactly the size stated in the ad, and fits the bed very well with a tad extra over the sides that makes it look like the bed was created just for the bedspread! Beautiful on the bed, very nice colors and top quality! Very happy with our new bedspread!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Strict grandmother The spread is bright ans summery
My bedroom is yellow and this spread fits in beautifully. I have an old double bed with old fashioned normal size mattress and box spring so the spread is a bit long as it is made for the new "thick" mattresses. In spite of this, I love it and would recommend it.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by ShaSha A pretty and lightweight bedspread.
We're enjoying having these seersucker spreads on our twin beds. Small amount of shrinkage when washed the first time, but that's to be expected. My only wish is that the bottom corners were contoured, as that would be even prettier and more practical. We don't like to have a bedspread touch the floor. Only the corners do, so we have to tuck in the bottom corners.

I went looking for a seersucker bedspread... this house used to have them on all the beds.... when it was used as a summer house. We live on an island in Maine, and our bedroom has a kingsize bed. This spread is just what I imagined it would be! Plenty large, very crisp and the colors are great, a perfect cover for the summer months.

I ordered this several months ago for my husband's bed. It's queen sized and the queen sized spread fits perfectly and is attractive and comfortable.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by donnak67 So disappointed
I was so excited to finally find a 'real' bedspread. I am tired of dealing with dust ruffles and comforters. I ordered this spread and it fit our queen bed just like bedspreads are supposed to! I loved it! Then I washed it; followed all the instructions - cold water, gentle cycle, low dry - the spread shrunk a good 6-10 inches! If I use it again next summer I'll have to get a #dreaded# dust ruffle again! Now I've ordered a "winter" spread and hope I get more than one seasons worth of use out of it.
